Festival of Trees Public Activities

The Tree Room is the heart of the Festival of Trees; a warm, festive space filled with beautifully decorated Christmas trees, twinkling lights, and the unmistakable feeling that the holidays have arrived. It’s where families gather, friends wander, and traditions are made, all within the glow and spirit of the Festival.

Gate Admission

  • Ages 13+ : $10
  • Children ages 4–12 (ages 3 and under free) : $5
  • Seniors (65+) : $8
  • Tickets for public activities are available at the gate only
  • Free parking for the duration of the event

  • Saturday November 28, 2026 : 10:00am – 9:00pm
  • Sunday, November 29, 2026 : 10:00am – 4:00pm

Note: Candy Cane Lane closes at 8:00pm on Friday and Saturday.

Activities

  • Trees & Silent Auction

    The Festival of Trees features one of the largest silent auctions in Central Alberta.

    Guests can browse and bid on a wide variety of items, including Christmas décor, unique experiences, and our exquisitely decorated Christmas trees.

    The silent auction opens online on November 26 at 5:00 pm, with items available for in-person viewing during public hours.

  • Candy Cane Lane

    Little ones can enjoy games, activities, and a visit with Santa in a festive, family-friendly space that’s become a Festival favorite.

    Hours:
    • November 27: 10:00am – 8:00pm
    • November 28: 10:00am – 8:00pm
    • November 29: 10:00am – 4:00pm

    Coupons are required for most games and can be purchased on site.

  • Gift & Sweet Shop

    Our Gift & Sweet Shop is the perfect place to find something special. Browse Christmas trinkets, unique handcrafted items from local artisans, savory snacks, tempting chocolates, and festive sweets, all in one large, cheerful space.

    The Gift & Sweet Shop is open during public hours.

  • Entertainment

    The Main Stage adds energy and warmth to the Festival experience. Included with gate admission, guests can enjoy performances from children’s choirs and talented local performers on the Main Stage.

  • Raffles

    Try your luck while supporting equipment for the Red Deer Hospital. The Mini Trees & Wreaths raffle is back, 50/50, and more!
